Dad took early retirement and moved to Seaton in Devon where helped to build up the Seaton and District Electric Tramways as a driver.
He also helped to restore the Exeter and Bournemouth cars.
At the age of 70 he had to stop driving public service cars, but before he died age 90 years old he still occasionally took a turn at conducting.
